Apple Tree to Berowra

I had to go to Bobbin Head to get my annual pass for the National Parks and after I thought I waould walk from Apple Tree Bay to Berowra. Once at Berowra the trains were out so rather than catch the crowded bus to Mount Kuringai and walk down the ridge  I turned around and walked back the same way. The cafe at Berowra was full as well so that left me with a very ordinary coffee and  aroll from Subway. 18klm for the return trip.

A very high tide-there was water over the road at Bobbin Head and to the top of the boat ramp at Apple Tree. It also had flooded part of the track and forced me into a short climb up some rocks at the back of the bay at Winson Gully.

A few short showers as I headed down the creek.

The view back to the creek from the ridge near Berowra

What a difference an hour or two makes. Blue skies, very hot and humid and low tides.

A pretty walk along Cowan Creek
