Kedumba

Drove up to Kings Tablelands at Wentworth Falls after work and slept in the car as a heavy fog made everything wet outside.

A 20klm walk down to the patch of green in the centre of picture and back.

Seemed to be walking downhill forever.The Kedumba slab hut and the surrounding cleared farm are not far from the exclusion zone surrounding Lake Burragorang.

The old farm area was teeming with Kangaroos and wallabies.

Wombat Hill walk from Merlya Pass

Merlya pass is an old track through the yarrunga Creek Valley and on to the Kangaroo Valley.
Rather than go down the pass follow the closed road into the Endrick Wilderness and on to Wombat Hill.

Manning Lookout

Manning Lookout is at Fitzroy Falls in the Southern Highlands and looks down into Kangaroo Valley which links the Highlands with the Shoalhaven Region on the coast. The Lookout is a short 5 minute walk from the car.
