Yalwal

Tianjara Falls on the Nowra- Braidwood road.

Short stop here on the way from Mt Bushwalker to Yalwal.

Had the Yalwal camping area almost to ourselves, so a quick set up of camp and collect firewood and off for a paddle in Danjera Dam just before sunset.

The evening tranquility.

Packed up camp the next day and then another couple of hours on the dam.

Yalwal is an old gold mining town inland from Nowra and was flooded when they built the dam.

Plenty of birds and fish jumping.

The further you go to the back of the dam the more drowned trees.

Mt Bushwalker

Picked my son up after work from the Hornsby station at 2235 and headed down to Cecil hoskins Nature Reserve and set up camp in the car park. In bed by 0045 on the Thursday.

Short walk around the reserve on the Wingecarribe River in the morning.

Plenty of water coming over the weir.

Lake Conjola from Pointer Gap Lookout near the start of our Walk out to Mt Bushwalker.

Glossy Black Cockatoos at the start of the track.

The view from Mt Bushwalker looking down the Clyde River Valley. Overcast and mist obscuring some of the view.

Panorama of the same view. First time I have used this feature on my little Olympus camera.

Impressed with the results from the in camera stitching of 2 or 3 photos.

The track through the thick heath.

Sculpture by the Sea

It's art, Jim, but not as we know it.

Well sculpted.

I did like this.

And this.

Made you look!

Boats on a sea of hedge.

Very crowded day, hard to get a clear shot of the art.

Did like this one.
