Barrenjoey

We were staying at Cammeray where Chris was house sitting and cat minding for a friend. A quiet morning  in before we walked into Cammeray for a nice coffee and cake at Laneway Cafe.  We then drove to Palm Beach for a late lunch of fish and chips before walking up Barrenjoey  in the late afternoon.

As you climb there are great views back over Palm Beach and Pittwater.

Then from the top views north to Box Head

A superb short walk.

Currarong to Home

After our 2 night stay in Currarong it was time to head slowly home. 
A quick stop at Bulls Hole in Jervis Bay National Park for views up and down Warrain Beach.

North to Kinghorn Point

South to Currarong 

Then a coffee stop at a cafe on the Crooked River at Gerroa. 

Lunch at Kiama on the Harbour for great fish and chips 




And then a short walk at Minnamurra Rainforest in Budderoo National Park 




Jambaroo Lookout as we climbed the escarpment back to Bundanoon. 

A nice 3 day break

Coomies Walk

Leaving the girls on their own for the morning I got up early and headed off to Coomies Walk which is a loop walk of the Beecroft Peninsula.

First, out to Beecroft Head, with great cliff views south to Lamond Head in the Beecroft Weapons Range.







Then on to a lookout over Mermaids Inlet

After leaving Mermaids inlet a short side trip to Gosangs Tunnel.

Another side trip to Little Beecroft  Head with views back into Lobster Bay 

Then around to Wilson's Beach. 


and out on Whale Head  to whats left of the wreck of the "Merimbula" 



Then leaving the track I rock hopped back to Abrahams Bosom and Currarong before  a nice fish and chip lunch as  a reward for my 15klm walk.
