Just before leaving the National Park there is a lookout over the ruins of the old Glen Davis shale oil works.

Coorongooba campground is on the Capertee River in Wollemi National Park near Glen Davis.

 A side creek entering the river at the campsite. There was more water flowing in from the creek than from the river.

Mooney Mooney Lookdown

A late afternoon walk to a geocache 5 mins from home.
I have driven past this spot hundreds of times on the old highway.

About 8o metres from the highway on top of cliffs and boulders.

 

Never did find the cache but the fun is in being there.
