Medlow Bath

Panorama of the Megalong Valley from Medlow Bath. A smaller version of the Three Sisters called the Three Brothers on the cliffs overlooking the valley.

A very windy day. At one lookout a strong gust actually pushed me back a step.

Fishing at Flint and Steel Beach

Very nice place to fish.
.

This was the only bite I got, after leaving my rod and bait unattended during lunch.

No kookaburras were injured in the making of this blog.

Nice easy walk (no hills) around the nature reserve.  Drowned forest on the main lake edge.

A freshwater lagoon in the middle of the reserve.

 Got to love a swamp.

Jerusalem Bay

Jerusalem Bay is a long narrow bay that runs off Cowan Creek, a tributary of the Hawkesbury River. To walk in is a 2.5klm walk from Cowan railway Station and is actually part of the Great North Walk. You can continue on to Brooklyn from here.
Peaceful and pretty at any stage of the tide.
