Buckenbowra River, Corn Trail

I wanted to scout out the lower end of the Corn Trail which starts in Monga National Park on the plateau and ends in the coastal valley of the Buckenbowra River. A logistically
hard walk to organise when your on your own and dont want to do an out and back. The lower access is 20klm from the turn off the highway at Clyde Mountain.  The track starts on the banks of the Buckenbowra River and then immediately climbs a ridge up into the forest. I followed this for the first couple of klms before heading back to the car.

Nice and quiet walk but once away from the river there was little real views. Still, a pleasant way to spend a morning.
