Far West-Day 1 A Wet Start

Driving through showers and misty rain all day while heading west over the mountains and on to Lake Cargelligo.  538 klm through Lithgow, Bathurst, Orange, Parkes and Condobolin. Not  a lot of photo ops. Stopped at the bird hide on Lake Cargelligo for a quick look just on dusk.

Drove in to the town and had a BBQ dinner in the park.

A pleasant town with nice facilities.

After dinner drove back to the lake bird hide and camped under the tarp. 

Misty showers all night.
