Driving from Cradle Mountain to Hobart way, using the 60 Short walks in Tassie brochure, decided to drive down the centre past Deloraine and Great Lake. This gave us 3 short walks on the way.
The first stop and only a walk of 800 mtrs one way was Alum Cliffs on the Mersey River.
Next a 1klm one way walk down to Liffey Falls.
The geology makes the falls erode in a series of steps, making for a very picturesque falls.
Playing with the tripod and Neutral Density Filters to give me longer exposures.
First time using this filter with falls giving some mixed results.
Next stop a 400mtr one way boardwalk along Pine Lake to see Pencil Pines around an alpine lake.
Although short and at first glance a bit bland, the muted colours and vibrant greens made this a lovely stop.
