Cradle Mountain

Late afternoon,actually about 6.30pm, with the warm glow of the sun on the mountain.

Again late arvo at the Boat Shed on Dove Lake.

Morning light now on the start of our walk up to the summit.

Walking through snow with clear skies and sun. We were told that there is not many days each year when the mountain is not covered by cloud and the weather this good.

Amazing to think that walking on beach one day then through snow the next.

Almost back to the car at Dove Lake. Again the tranquility of the late afternoon. All up walked from 9.30am to about 5 pm. Probably the best day walk I have done.
