Tamar Valley

Launceston is a nice city full of friendly people. Visited the Japanese Macaques in the town park.

Then off to Tamar Island wetlands.

Early afternoon in Narawntapu National Park. Wombats on the "lawn" at Springlawn Lagoon

Walked to Archer's Knob for views over the coast and Lagoon.

Bass Strait beaches.

Plenty of birds at the lagoon which is edged by melalueca swamp. The lagoon was very full coming out of winter. have seen photos when there is hardly any water.
