Launceston Gorge

Arrived in Launceston and booked in at the Hotel at 1230hrs. Then an afternoon walk down to Launceston Gorge on the South Esk river.

After a 15 min walk from the centre of Launceston to the start of the Gorge and then along the saltwater stretch of the river into the basin.

Lunch and a cider with peacocks at the cafe in the basin and then on to the old power station at Duck Reach.

All up about 15klm and back to the Hotel just before 1700hrs.
