After my walk to Abbotts Falls I then moved on to Watagans National Park. A quick lunch at Boarding House Dam before the short loop walk there.

A loop along the rainforest creek
The highlight of this walk is the moss wall. Over 100 metres long this moss covered rock shelf edges the track with its vibrant green.

Just outside the park in the State Forest is Heaton Lookout with views over Lake Macquarie
Then back into the Watagans National Park to Gap Creek Lookout
and Monkey Face Lookout over the Martinsville valley
