Mt Ettalong

Had driven past this lookout hundreds of times and always meant to stop. Today was the day and I was blown away by the views.

Pearl Beach and Lion Island

Box Head 

Ettalong and the entrance to Brisbane Water 

Ocean Beach Umina and Broken Bay 

Only a short walk from the car park through some lovely twisted Sydney Redgum-Angophra costata. 

Pearl Beach. Obvious fish eye effect from the next 2 photos but the first 2 photos from this post also taken with the fish eye lens. Its all about the angle of the shot. 

Lion Island 

Lookouts in general and this one in particular just cry out for some stitched panoramas.

Some of the stitching is evident in the ocean swell when enlarged, but this is to be expected as some shots are composite of over 20 photos.
