Cooks Nose in Barren Grounds Nature Reserve, an 8klm return walk from the picnic area. Barren Grounds is a plateau area as you drop down from Robertson to Kiama over the Jamberoo Pass.

Broughton Head, an isolated mesa which is part of the Illawarra Range and Rodway Nature Reserve. I believe the reserve is surrounded by private property and access is limited.
