Couridjah Corridor

The Couridjah Corridor is in Nattai National Park adjacent to Thirlmere National Park. The 16klm return walk takes you to the Little River which flows into the Nattai River and then into Lake Burragorang.

Schedule 2 land with walkers permitted. I turned around at the Little River believing that the track then became Schedule 1 land with no access, but talking to the NPWS  worker back at the picnic area, I was told that you can continue on some way further until another gate and signage.

At the start of the walk along Blue Gum Creek is a beautiful Blue Gum forest.

A few wildflowers out, but on a very cold and windy day not many birds or wildlife.

Coming out of the Blue Gum forest the valley widens with typical sandstone escarpments on either side.

Todays destination, the Little River, after 2 hours walking.

A beautiful and quiet stop before the walk back.
