Crazy Pattern

 Salt pan behind Gentlemans Halt on the Hawkesbury

Wingecarribee River, Berrima

Another short walk, late afternoon, along the Wingecarribee River at Berrima. The river forms a big loop here before continuing on under the expressway and towards Medway and Bangadilly.

Carp heaven. Probably 12 plus big carp (30-40cm) in one of the pools taking in the sun in the shallows. 

It was a little weedy on the flats at the river bend and I  regretted not putting my gaiters on. Socks full of burrs and seeds and a few scratches from blackberry. Pleasant walk nevertheless.

Erith Falls Coal Mine

A short morning walk from Bundanoon into Morton National Park and down to Erith Falls.

Always nice to be somewhere on a bush track.

I didn't walk down to the falls this time. Not a lot of water going over.

Thought this was a brilliant idea. Should be more of them. This one in Wollongong Botanic Gardens.

Bundanoon Dam

A very hot day in Bundanoon with some friends staying over so it was time to go and find Bundanoon Dam for a swim. A short walk down to the water from Meryla Rd in the state forest with a lovely stretch of cool water.  

More of an explore later, possibly on Li Lo's to find the dam wall.
