Talbingo Dam

Morning paddle on Talbingo Dam. A wonderful mountain dam on the Tumut River. The winds can really rip through here and it was a little bit of hard work heading up the dam until I turned into Landers Creek. A paddle of 12.6klm but cheating a little as I put up the sail and let the wind take me back.
The dam wall with the boat ramp on the left.

From the dam wall

Looking back towards the dam wall and overflow from the first bay.

Typical drowned forests on the edges and in the bays

In Landers Creek. On day 2 of my trip I had looked down here from Landers Creek Falls

Couldn't paddle any further to get a sight of the falls. Would have been a hard walk from here also.
