Black Perry and Jounama Creek

After leaving Long Plain  we stopped at Black Perry lookout in the late afternoon light. Last trip down this way I had stopped here in the morning and the views were in the shade and the photos dark.
The Black Perry is the black plug of rock.

Great views over the Bogong Peaks Wilderness

The next morning we left for home, but not before a quick walk on Jounama Creek. I had enjoyed this walk previously. A  rushing mountain creek.

Hainsworth Hut

Still on Long Plain, we had time for a late afternoon walk to Hainsworth Hut. A very windy 7.1klm return walk from the Ghost Gully campground.

There were some small trout here in the creek at the front of the hut.

Long Plain

Waking at Talbingo to rain I thought that we wouldn't be seeing a lot up at Long Plain. I had booked the car in at the local servo to look at a minor problem so we didn't get away till late.  Driving up Talbingo Mountain was through a solid wall of fog and cloud. As we turned off into Long Plain the cloud lifted and we spent a great day in the sun.
