I had planned to go to Livingstone National Park south of Wagga but when we got there the park was closed due to the rains damaging the roads. The park workers told us that they were having trouble getting around on ATV's and that it would be months before it was re-opened.
So, we deviated to The Rock and decided to do the Towers track and Lookout.
Very steep with a little scrambling and great views. I have never seen so many mosquitoes. Literally hundreds on our arms, faces and necks at the same time. We wore our BUFF headgear around our necks and as balaclavas. Our arms were exposed and very itchy for the next week.
