Mulgoa

Mulgoa, south of Penrith and a couple of short walks to lookouts over the Nepean River Gorge.
The Rock lookout, a short 500mtr walk from the car park in what is now part of Blue Mountains National Park.

Rileys Mountain Lookout about 2.5klm from the car park, looking north past the Gorge to penrith and the Cumberland Plain.

Waratah Gorge

 

Bilpin Walk

 Plan to go to Burralow but road closed due to weather. Visited Waratah Picnic area and walked to The Gorge. Pleasant walk with a waterfall (unnamed) in a narrow gorge.

 

 Walk and photo's for a couple of hours and a nice bbq lunch with excellent sausages from the Kurrajong butcher

 Short stop on the way home at Swallow Rock Reserve at Ebenezer on the Hawkwsbury River. A half hour walk at last light through the reserve and back.
