Yacaaba

I drove up to Hawks Nest in the morning on a 3 day break and first walked up Yacaaba which is the northern headland of Port Stephens.

Over the dunes and along the Yacaaba spit

Views open up at a lookout half way up before a steep climb to the top.

The Myall River and the bridge at Tea Gardens with the Barrington Tops in the distance

South to Tomaree and Fingal Bay

The Port Stephens lighthouse at Fingal Bay

Tomaree with Wreck and Zenith Beaches

Cabbage Tree Island

Boondelabah

The Myall River

Yacaaba Spit

The cleft on Tomaree

Once back down I looped around to The Gibbers underneath Yacaaba .

Looking across Port Stepehens to Tomaree

Lunch with the dolphins

As far as I could get on the rocks underneath

A walk of 9.3klm  after walking back along Jimmys Beach to the car.
