The Clover Hill Trail is in Macquarie Pass National Park. About 7klm return the trail is reasonably flat and contours across the slopes to a clearing from an old farm and then on to Macquarie Rivulet and a series of waterfalls.
Views down the valley to the coast
Looking up to the cliffs of the plateau.
The first of the falls at the old ford crossing of the rivulet. The rivulet divides and makes a twin falls into a small canyon. I think this is called Rainbow Falls.
Looking upstream from the ford
Further upstream is Mulangong Falls. Further upstream is the larger Clover Falls but no true track and a very steep route through the forest was no good for my knee today so we didn't make it that far.
About half way between the two falls is Hanging Rock with its attendant cascades.
Nice to be out.
