A short walk off the Mount Murray Road at the top of Macquarie Pass. Looking at Google Earth, I thought there might be some views here under the electricity pylons.

The tail of Lake Illawarra behind Calderwood Head
I was on the edge of the Upper Nepean State Conservation Area and the restricted zone of the water catchment area. Calderwood and everything north of Mount Murray is in the forbidden zone.
After a very short 1.5klm walk I spent a little time at an unnamed waterfall on a small creek.
