Calverts Creek Falls

Calverts Creek runs from Mt White to Mooney Mooney Creek. A short morning walk before work down to the waterfall after some good rain in the last week.

The creek as it flows over the rock shelf at the top of the falls.

Using a ND filter to slow the water down still left the sky overexposed. I added a graduated ND filter which helped but left some vignetting (which was expected and I could crop) but also a red cast to the top left of the photos which I can lessen but not remove. Must be a way to do this in Photoshop which I will have to learn or better still avoid when taking the photo.

Hey there - looks like a great spot. What is the best way to access this spot? Where is the best place to park?
Cheers,
Geoff

G'day Geoff- The Barney Allens Firetrail starts from the south bound exit off the M1 to Mount White. Follow the firetrail down for a few hundred metres and there is a small sidetrack leading off on the left to the creek.

Haha, yeah, it was poor form, but thanks for bumping this again! I had been wondering how to get to this place again and I couldn't figure out how to find this page again. Got a notification of your reply and here it is again! Seriously grateful and notes have been made this time. Nice joint effort, everyone.
