Penance Grove is in Monga National Park which is on the escarpment between Braidwood and Batemans Bay. The Grove has a short boardwalk around a small creek gully full of Tree Ferns and Pinkwood Trees. I had been here before and remembered it as an enchanted place. Last visit was winter and wetter and the grove had a different feel this time.
At some time someone had illegally topped and harvested a large amount of the tree ferns and they had named it Penance Grove for this act.
Very late afternoon and low light with high ISO settings on the camera to compensate.
