The anchor of the Dunbar which was wrecked in 1857 with the loss off 122 lives. Only one person survived the wreck.

Cockatoo Island Paddle

Started at Rodd Point where the Rodd family mausoleum is located. The Rodd's were one of the first settlers in the area. The bodies were moved to rookwood cemetery in 1903. Rodd Island is in Iron Cove just off Rodd Park, Fivedock

 Spectacle Island, which is controlled by the navy.
