A 6.8klm walk from Maloneys Beach to Three Islet Point and back
Leaving the car at the start of the Acheron Ledge Track we walked out to Reef Point.
Views back down to Chain Bay and Maloneys Beach.
Then dropping down to Reef Beach.
At the end of Reef Beach a very steep climb up to the headland. There is an easier track that starts behind the dunes at the western edge of the beach.
Again, good views from the headland back over Reef Beach.
And out to our destination at Three Islet Point
Then making our way along Yellow Rock Beach and past the National Park cabins.
Before a long section of rock platforms out to Three Isle Point.
At the point I climbed part way up the second Islet. I didn't make it to the top because the wind was pushing me around and I stayed in the lee.
Looking back down the point with North Head on the right and yellow Rock Beach to the left.
The seaward side of the point.
Looking out along the point into the Bay
And out to the Tollgate Islands
An excellent walk
