We had a week away at North Haven on the mid north coast. I haven't been sick for years, but a combination of being run down from big days moving house from the Central Coast to the South Coast and live culture vaccinations required for my new job, saw me crook as a dog. For the first few days I could hardly leave the bed and I just slept. For the last few days I was up but Chris succumbed so a week away when we didn't do much. C'est la vie.
What we did manage over the week was:
A short drive and walk around Diamond Head and Kylies Beach in Crowdy Bay National Park
A short drive around Queens Lake on a hazy day looking back at Dooragan or North Brother Mountain
A walk into Kattang Nature Reserve.
And a stop at the Lookout on Big Brother Mountain with views over Camden Haven
And Watson Taylor Lake and the levee of the Camden River as it enters into the lake.
On the way home a look at the Cattai Wetlands.
