Caoura Ridge

Caoura Ridge runs out from Tallong  between Bundanoon Creek and Shoalhaven Gorge.

Purnoo lookout at the end of Caoura Ridge Fire Trail is an 8klm bike ride through the Etremma Wilderness section in Morton National Park.

At Purnoo Lookout looking down on the Tallowa Dam and the boat ramp and picnic area from where I paddled up the Shoalhaven Gorge the week before.

Back from Purnoo Lookout another fire trail leads you down to a Pauls Lookout on a lower level of cliffs on the Shoalhaven River overlooking Tallowa Dam

Again a little further back on the main trail an overgrown old fire trail leads to another viewpoint on the gorge.

Magnificent cliffs 

Bloody marvellous. One of the best.
