On the way to Newcastle for a xmas dinner with my daughter and her partner I stopped for a quick walk along the lake at Awaba Bay. Starting at the Hepplewhites Fire Trail I walked down to the lake and along, through Hepplewhites shack and to Marmong. 4.5klm return
Jetty at a retirement village at the southern end of the walk.

No hepplewhites shack there now. They were there asap to knock history down day after lease was cancelled.
