Back to Box Head in Bouddi National Park. Having been turned back previously due to a NPWS operation ( shorter-than-expected ) I continued on from Hawke Head Drive and made my way to Iron Ladder Beach and then on to Box Head and around to Tallow Beach.
Lion Island from the ridge before the track drops down to the beach.
Standing like a sentinel in the bay looking back to the fog at the Hawkesbury River Mouth.
Iron Ladder Beach
And again. I like it.

Hi Rob. Finding it hard to pick up the trail to the beach. NPWS said there is no track to it are you able to help. Thanks
Leah
Gday Leah. Long time ago now. From memory it is just before a open rocky area. Definite track there but probably from the far side of the rock outcrops.
Gday again Leah. Just had a further look at the track. It can be seen from Google Maps satellite. Its about 70metres from where the firetrail turns into the track proper. At the far side of a distinctive group of 3or4 large boulder slabs.Enjoy
