Mitchell Park is part of Cattai National Park in Sydney's west near the Hawkesbury River at Windsor. Mitchell Park is separate to the main Cattai National Park and runs along Cattai Creek.
Walked 7.2klm of trails through the park.

and wetlands
After a late lunch, left the park and paddled from Cattai Bridge Reserve back upstream past the park and along the creek. A lovely paddle, but a lot longer than I thought. Paddled 10.7klm return and didn't make it to the end of the creek,but ran out of time before being off the water at 6pm.
The tea trees were full of blossom and you could smell the honey in the air.
