Far West-Day 13 and 14 Ganguddy

A slow start and an easy morning before leaving Mookerawa and then a stop at Burrendong Arboretum near the Burrendong Dam wall. A few short walks looking at trees and birds in the arboretum and promising myself to return in spring. Then on through Wellington, Mudgee and a late lunch at the dam at Lake Windemere. Very windy and cold there, so on through Rylestone and out to Dunns Swamp for the night. Not many photos for day 13 and none blogworthy.

Some showers during the night but a clear morning. On the water at Dunns Swamp (Ganguddy) by 0700hrs for one of the best paddles ever. Had the whole dam to myself with not a breath of wind and calm, clear water. This is one of my favorite places.

Seemed a bit unreal to travel 4000klm in the fortnight and have the best time within 4 hours of home on the last day. Is there a lesson hidden here  for me.
