Quick stop for lunch at Cataract dam off the Wollongong/Appin Road
Well maintained picnic grounds and a short walk across the dam wall.
Beauty and function.
Outflow from the dam is sent down Cataract River to Broughton Pass where it is pumped up to a canal and down to Prospect Reservoir for Sydney's water.
