Big Day Out

My son and his friends went camping at Catherine Hill Bay. Of course I was their lift in. Fished for a while after at Moonee Beach
. 

Then an invitation to visit and go out for dinner from my daughter in Newcastle.
Can't visit Newcastle without seeing Nobbies.

Have always wanted to see a bulk carrier come into the river.

Upper Mangrove

Dubbo Gully is the access route down  to Mangrove Creek  and the Upper Mangrove Cemetery.
An easy one hour walk through the locked gate on Dubbo Gully Road gets you to the cemetery.

Almost opposite the cemetery a picturesque swamp/lagoon.
