Morgans Road Lookout

Had heard about this lookout for ages and although only 5 mins from home had never been there.
The river, of course, is the Hawkesbury.

Had received a new GPS for xmas and started geocaching. Was a good excuse to visit as there was a geocache here.

Grandeur.

Mulgoa Nature Reserve

Afternoon walk around Mulgoa Nature Reserve south of Penrith.
The reserve is in two sections and an hour walk in each section gave a good cross section of the reserve.

Typical woodland in the southern section.

Still cant resist a swamp/lagoon.

More birds and insects in the more open northern section.
A White winged Triller.

An orange winged dragonfly.

Grasshopper

Bellbird.

Hawkesbury Paddle

Paddled fro the F3 bridge across the river and up Milson Passage and around Milson Island to the Parramatta wreck and back. First photo of Olga Bay directly opposite the boat ramp.
Looking upriver from Olga Bay

Back to the F3 bridge.

Looking up Milson Passage to what looks like a recent rockslide scar on the Bar Point cliffs.

The wreck of the Parramatta.

The parramatta with Cascade Gully behind.

Fishing the river.

Pittwater

A great waterway. This is Resolute Beach on the western shore in Kuringai National Park.
Looking back towards Barrenjoey.

Forgot the waterproof camera and kept the SLR in the dry bag, so all photo's are with my phone.

Storm passing  and the sun setting behind West Head.
