A Day Out

Out with friends to walk on the Meryla Plateau with views down to Kangaroo Valley but forgot that most of Morton National Park is still closed from the fires 2 years ago. A nice cuppa coffee and a rethink and then a series of short stops still made for a nice day out.

Then off to Manning Lookout at the top of Barrengarry Mountain.

Then on to a lovely display of waratahs at Robertson.

 

West Rim Track

Another stop on the way up to Bundanoon.  The West Rim track at Fitzroy Falls in Morton National Park.  A short 4.4klm return to 5 lookouts on the west rim of the Yurrunga Creek escarpment.

I always thought Fitzroy Falls was on Yurrunga Creek but I've just noticed its on Wildes Meadow Creek  and Yurrunga Creek comes in at Twin Falls.
