Hell Hole Falls

A short 1.2klm walk in Parma Creek Nature Reserve to Hell Hole Falls.

Parma Creek Nature Reserve is off  Turpentine Rd south of Nowra. The creek is a tributary of Currembene Creek which runs down to Jervis Bay at Huskisson.

The track down crosses over the creek above the falls.

Nice. I believe there may be more falls downstream.

 

Florence Head

Back at the start of March a 6.8klm return walk out to Florence Head just north of Ulladulla.

A coffee first at Pointer Gap Lookout t the top of the escarpment.

The walk follows the cliff line out to Florence Head with views back over the coast from Conjola to Mollymook and Ulladulla.

Then at Florence Head views of Pigeonhouse (Didthul) and the Budawangs.

The Clyde Valley Gorge

Byangee Walls centre, with Talaterang on the right and The Castle at the right rear.

Magnificent panoramas in every direction.

Wasp Head

Lunchtime walk around Wasp Head before my afternoon nap and night shift.

Starting at Mill Beach in front of the Murramurang Resort I walked along the beach to the rock shelf.

The expanse of Beagle Bay encompassing both North and South Durras and looking across to Point Upright.

Wasp Island

Wobbegong Bay where I left the rock shelf and climbed up onto Wasp Head

Emily Miller Point

And Emily Miller Beach. 

I think the "Emily Miller" was a ship that ran aground here in the 1800's.
