Spoon Rocks to Pinney Beach

Went fishing at Pinney Beach in Wallarah National Park.

Spoon Rocks-an old breakwater built to allow deep water access for coal loading.

Split Rock on the walk in to Pinney Beach

Pinney Beach from the northern headland.

Crystal clear water and bright green weed at low tide.

Pinney Beach is divided in two by a rock platform. This is the southern beach.

Lapstone to Glenbrook Creek

Walk from Lapstone Station along the Nepean River to Glenbrook Creek.

Glenbrook Creek flows into the Nepean.

After the walk drove through Glenbrook and out to Mount Portal lookout for a late lunch before picking my daughter up from her placement at Penrith School.
