Cockle Creek

Morning paddle up Cockle Creek at Bobbin Head. Paddled from here a few times but not up under the boardwalk on Cockle Creek.

 Paddled both arms of Cockle Creek. Was on the water approx 1 1/2 hrs including getting out at the waterfall for photos.

Even on a Sunday morning mid summer there wasnt many people on the water.

My Olympus camera has a "magic filter" option which I used for this shot. Looks like it just increases the colour saturation. Have had this camera for some years now but only just starting to play with the settings.

Brooklyn Dam

Afternoon walk to Brooklyn Dam.Starting at Brooklyn towards Parsley Bay, a steep push up the fire trail and then along the ridge into the dam.

Signage says 2klm each way. Small dam with a camping area (no facilities) along a section of the Great North Walk. Nice swimming hole for a warm day.

Palm Beach Paddle

A windy day, perfect for playing with my Windpaddle sail on the kayak. Working out how close crosswind I can paddle.
